SALSA

About Us
SALSA, formerly the Altar and Rosary Society, was founded in
1936. Its early goal was to honor the Blessed Virgin and to unite the women of
the parish in charity, fellowship and prayer.
Over the years, the mission of the society evolved. In addition
to honoring the Blessed Virgin, our current mission is to serve God in our
parish family through prayer, providing support for parish activities and
networking with other parish and Archdiocesan organizations. Some of our
activities include hosting a yearly visit to a community nursing home,
organizing and working at the International Fiesta and various other parish
events, and celebrating our society with an annual luncheon.
SALSA membership is open to all women of the parish. We encourage
any interested women to attend our meetings on the second Sunday of every month
from 12 noon to 1 PM. We need your participation and support to promote
the growth of our parish and organization.
