Sister Dorothy celebrates 60 years of religious life!

Sister Dorothy Ivory, joined the sisters of Christian Charity 60 in 1945, at the end of World War II.  She has served in many places, but has served the last twenty years here at St. Aloysius Church. As Pastoral Associate, she runs our Rummage Sale for the needy families, helps teach CCD for the children, is one of the teachers for the adult program, the RCIA, and prepares children over the age of 7 for Baptism.  Sister Dorothy will renew her vows at the 10:30am Mass on Sunday, August 21st.  A reception will follow.  We hope you can come and congratulate and thank Sister Dorothy for her dedicated and joyful service to the Lord and to our parish!

Registration for CCD classes begins on August 7!

Please register your child for religious education classes any time during the month of August.  All children in a nonCatholic elementary school should be attending CCD classes in order to help them learn their Catholic faith. For more information on CCD classes and registration, please call the rectory at 773-278-4808.
