Ministers of Communion

Ministers of Communion are people whose prayer life has called them to serve their community by distributing Holy Communion to their brothers and sisters at Mass.  Some of them also bring Communion to the sick at home or in the hospital (these are called Ministers of Care).  Because of the importance of this ministry, we ask them to not only train, but to also maintain a devoted prayer life so as best to reflect the gift of the Lord Jesus which they are sharing with others.  These Ministers received their latest commissioning on the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi).

Lectors

Proclaiming the Word of God so that all can hear and understand the Scriptures, is not only difficult, but it is also important for the assembly.  Our Lectors train and practice to proclaim God's Word each Sunday in a manner that will help others understand the message of God's love for us.

English Choir

Our English choir has been singing together nearly forty years!  They have a wide repertoire of nontraditional music and a wonderful acoustic sound.  Since they have been together so long, they blend wonderful harmonies and include music from the sixties through today.

Spanish Choirs

Our two Spanish Masses each have their own choir, although the musicians play at both Masses.  Each choir adds its own flavor to the music.  We think you'll enjoy singing along with them!

Altar Servers

In order to be a server, a young person must first make their First Communion, and undergo training.  These young boys and girls assist Father at the altar, holding the book for prayer, preparing the altar and leading the procession.  Their dedication and serious effort in helping the congregation to pray is very much appreciated.  Please speak Deacon Adolfo Lopez if you wish to be an altar server.

Sacristan

Those who volunteer to clean up the church and to set up for Mass.
